Patient Participation Group Annual General Meeting 2020

The group have been unable to meet together since the meeting on 3rd March 2020, with the current restrictions in place and the uncertainty when the Social Distancing will be relaxed it has been decided to postpone the Annual General meeting due early June until the group can meet normally again.

In accordance with the Constitution of the PPG 14 days due notice will be posted inviting patients to attend, once a date for the Annual General meeting has been decided.

You can be assured that during the current difficult situation the PPG members are still involved on a regular basis on the developments in the Practice, the Primary Care Network and Health and Social Care throughout northern Staffordshire.

Cervical Smears

We are now accepting appointment bookings for Cervical Smears from the 1st June 2020 please contact the surgery to book an appointment with one of our Practice Nurses

 

** WE HAVE RECEIVED REPORTS OF A POSSIBLE SCAM** Some women are being contacted by text message, claiming to be from the call and recall service to advise they are overdue for cervical screening. The message asks them to call a mobile number and provide personal details.

These messages are not from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme.

If you receive one of these messages, please do not call the mobile number and do not provide your personal details.
