We are unable to book any Flu Vaccine appointments at present as we are currently waiting for confirmation of the delivery date from the supplier.  Please do not contact us.  If your appointment is affected we will contact you to:

Patient Participation Group AGM

Tuesday 7th September 2021 at 10.00am

Notice is given that the Annual General Meeting of the Patient Participation Group will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 7th September 2021 via the internet as we are still unable to hold the meeting face to face due to the staged removal of restrictions on NHS premises as a result of Covid 19.

Patients of the Practice are invited to attend and should you wish to join the meeting we would ask you to contact Rachel Hurst, Patient Services Manager via e mail moorland.med@nhs.net

so that you can be invited to the meeting via email.

This practice operates a zero-tolerance policy with regards to violence or abuse. ANY patient or their relative who use threatening or offensive behaviour, either verbal or physical, in person or via the telephone or social media could be removed from the practice in order to protect our staff and other patients.

Patients on long term medication can order repeat prescriptions in the following ways:

  • In person/post – forward your repeat slip to the surgery having carefully marked the items required. Please enclose a SAE if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online – order via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to register for this service; click here for more information.
  • Local pharmacy collection/delivery service - please call into your preferred pharmacy with your right hand side of your prescription to set up this service. You will need to give the pharmacy            7 days’ notice for ordering and receiving prescriptions.

You will need to leave 2 working days for the surgery to process the prescription. So if you order at the weekend or in the evening it won't be actioned until the first working day, so for example:

Order on a Saturday/Sunday it will be processed on a Monday and ready for collection from the surgery on Wednesday after 4pm.

Order on a Thursday night it will be processed on a Friday and ready for collection from the surgery on Tuesday after 4pm.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see the Clinical Pharmacist, Doctor, Nurse Practitioner at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
